In a decision rendered by the Swiss Federal Supreme Court on 4 January 2021 (4A_348\/2020) the Court finally upheld an award after being successfully annulled twice. The decision adresses, amongst others, the expectations of the Court on how an arbitral tribunal has to deal with an annulled award in the second round which apply likewise to both domestic and international awards.<\/p>\n
