The Gallus Group comprises the two Swiss companies Gallus Holding AG, St. Gallen, and Gallus Ferd. R\u00fcesch\u00a0AG, St. Gallen. Thouvenin Rechtsanw\u00e4lte assisted Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG in the transaction with regard to Swiss legal issues.<\/p>\n<p>The Gallus Group develops, produces and sells conventional and digital narrow-web, reel-fed presses designed for the label and packaging business. The transaction will see benpac holding ag assume ownership of the Gallus Group with a total of five companies with sites in Germany and Switzerland and around 430 employees. It is planned to close the transaction still in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The team of Thouvenin Rechtsanw\u00e4lte with the lead partners Thomas Loher and Arlette Pfister (both corporate law\/M&amp;A) also comprised Marzel Wyden (corporate law\/M&amp;A), Patrick Rohn (distribution law), Katia Favre (ICT\/data protection law), Raphael Meier (distribution law\/intellectual property law), Anna Neukom Chaney (employment law), Roger Steiner (contract law) and Yannick J\u00e4ncke.<\/p>\n<p>Responsible for the transaction in Germany was the team of DLA Piper led by Dr.\u00a0Benjamin
