Thouvenin Rechtsanwälte’s Corporate and M&A team, led by Arlette Pfister and Stefan Seiler, acted as Swiss legal counsel for Twenty14 Holdings for a forward purchase contract for the development of the InterCity Hotel in Zurich Airport

Together with Trowers & Hamlins, UAE, Thouvenin Rechtsanwälte acted as legal counsel on a successful deal for Twenty14 Holdings, the global hospitality arm of Abu Dhabi-based LuLu Group International. The Swiss legal team was led by Arlette Pfister and Stefan Seiler.

Twenty14 Holdings entered into a forward purchase contract for the development of InterCity Hotel in Zurich Airport in Rümlang, Switzerland. The InterCity Hotel, a purpose-built, 260-room, 4-star hotel, is scheduled to open in 2020 and will be leased to Deutsche Hospitality (Steigenberger Hotels AG) for operation under a 20-year contract.

The addition of the InterCityHotel marks Twenty14 Holdings’ entry into mainland Europe and joins a portfolio of USD 750m worth of luxury property across the UK, the Middle East, and India.
