Litigation Newsletter: Federal Supreme Court decides on extent of joint liability of money launderers with the perpetrators of the main criminal act (BGE 146 IV 211)

The Federal Supreme Court decided on July 9 2020, that money launderers are jointly liable with the main perpetrators “to the extent of assets, they kept away from confiscation”. The Newsletter gives a brief introduction to the case that we won for our client, deals with criticism raised by scholars and assesses its future impact on financial intermediaries.
