Legal 500 EMEA 2019 rankes five Practise Areas of Thouvenin Rechtsanwälte – two more than last year

In its 2019 EMEA edition Legal 500, one of the world’s leading legal market analyst, recommends in total five practice areas of Thouvenin Rechtsanwälte – two more than in its 2018 edition, namely employment and insurance. In addition, our TMT practice has increased its ranking from tier 4 to tier 3 with Katia Favre being again ranked as Next Generation Lawyer.

Legal 500 praises the five practice areas as follows:

Corporate, commercial and M&A (tier 3): Thouvenin Rechtsanwälte’s national and international M&A clients mostly come from the manufacturing, healthcare and technology industries. Other areas of expertise include corporate advice, commercial leasing and distribution issues, as well as structuring financial investments. Microsoft, EOS Group, Hexagon and Leica Geosystems are among its clients. The team comprises of cross-border specialist Arlette PfisterMarkus Alder, who focuses on mid-sized M&A transactions, corporate and insurance specialist Martin Bürkle and commercial lawyer Michael Bösch.

Dispute resolution – litigation (tier 4): Thouvenin Rechtsanwälte is ‘well-established’ in the space and provides an ‘excellent and timely service for clients in the banking industry’ and further handles estate, tax and commercial disputes. ‘Exceptional analyst and tactician’ Patrick Rohn represents a British hospitality company in a commercial dispute concerning the control over a Swiss holding company against its former joint venture partners, while ‘excellent succession planning and family governance lawyer’ Daniel Stoll acted for three members of a Swiss ultra-high-net-worth family in a dispute concerning the division of their late father’s estate.

Employment (tier 3): Clients appreciate the ‘highly professional and solution-oriented’ team at Thouvenin Rechtsanwälte for its ‘outstanding mix of competent legal advice and personal collaboration’, resulting in ‘prompt communication during each process’.
