Chambers Europe 2018: Thouvenin Rechtsanwälte listed in four areas of specialization and, in addition, four lawyers have been ranked individually

After a successful ranking in Chambers Global 2018 four departments and lawyers of Thouvenin Rechtsanwälte have also been ranked in Chambers Europe 2018.

The following departments of Thouvenin Rechtsanwälte are ranked: Corporate/M&A, Dispute Resolution, Employment and TMT.

Clients describe our dispute resolution team as having a “very good understanding” of business and that they “receive first-class service,” describing the firm as a “small, efficient boutique firm with a strong litigation practice.”

Regarding our employment department one source states: “They are very responsive and of course understand the business of their clients very well, especially with the way that foreign lawyers work, too. They adapt to you and don’t expect you to adapt to them.” Other commentators note the “high-end legal expertise combined with pragmatic and efficient approach” offered by the team as well as their “real understanding and experience.”

Our four lawyers ranked in Chambers Europe 2018 are:

– Hansjörg Stutzer (Dispute Resolution, Band 4): Hansjörg has experience of acting as both chair and arbitrator in disputes regarding infrastructure projects, M&A transactions, construction and copyright issues. He is also noted by peers for his track record of handling sports arbitration.

– Daniel Stoll (Dispute Resolution, Band 4) who “profits from his great experience in banking and finance matters.” He has notable experience assisting banks with a range of matters, including violations of regulations, internal investigations, money laundering and tax disputes.

– Thomas Loher (Employment, Band 3) who, according to clients, is a “very responsive, understands the issues well” and “explains matters clearly, and considers options”. He advises clients on employment matters arising from restructurings as well as transfer of undertakings, compensation schemes and terminations. He has further strengths in sports-related employment matters and acting for executives.
