Patrick Rohn

Expertise

Patrick Rohn has been a partner with Thouvenin Rechtsanwälte since 2013. He specializes in domestic and international commercial litigation and arbitration (including ICC, Swiss Chambers, UNCITRAL), with a particular focus on disputes relating to distribution, licensing, commercial and corporate transactions and relations. In these fields, Patrick also regularly advises clients on non-contentious matters, and he drafts and negotiates distribution, license, and cooperation agreements. Further, Patrick frequently represents clients in complex contractual, corporate (incl. post-M&A, joint venture, directors’ liability) and commercial disputes up to the Appeal Court and the Federal Supreme Court, and he has considerable expertise related to cross-border asset tracing and recovery, and the enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards.

Since 2025, Patrick Rohn has also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zweifel Holding AG. In this role, he is primarily responsible for managing shareholder relations and implementing the ownership strategy within the corporate group and its operating companies. This role enables Patrick to bring a unique understanding of business and strategic issues to his legal advisory and litigation practice and to understand the dynamics within shareholder groups.
