Arbitration Newsletter Switzerland: Draft Proposal on the Revision of Chapter 12 PILA
This newsletter contain a brief report on the proposed revision of Chapter 12 PILA (the lex arbitri for international arbitration proceedings before arbitral tribunals in Switzerland). On 11 January 2017, the Federal Department of Justice has published its draft proposal in this respect, together with an explanatory report. The proposed changes and amendments correspond to the expectation of the legal community, namely, they provide a simple “brush-up” only with no fundamental changes.
