David R. Trachsel

David Trachsel joined Thouvenin in 2024. Prior to joining Thouvenin, he worked at a renowned business law firm in Zurich and at the Commercial Court of the Canton of Berne.

His practice focuses on international and national litigation and arbitration. He advises and represents companies and private individuals at all stages of the dispute resolution process, with a focus on complex contractual, corporate and enforcement disputes. His experience covers post-M&A, joint venture and shareholder disputes as well as disputes in the insurance and sports industry. In addition, he regularly represents clients in proceedings for interim measures, enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards and cross-border asset tracing. David Trachsel is writing a doctoral thesis in the field of civil procedure and enforcement law.
